Delete your account and data
The short version. Signing in to LiftLock is optional. If you created an account, you
can permanently delete it — and everything synced to the cloud — at any time, either from inside the
app or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open LiftLock and go to Settings.
- Open Account and sync.
- While signed in, tap Delete account and data and confirm.
Your account and any cloud-synced data are deleted immediately, and you are signed out.
Delete from the web (no app needed)
If you can't use the app, email support@liftlockapp.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my LiftLock account." We verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your LiftLock account (your sign-in identity).
- All training data synced to the cloud under your account — workouts, logged sets, programs, exercises, and progress history.
What this does not affect
- Data stored only on your device. Workouts kept locally on your phone are not data we hold; they remain on the device until you uninstall LiftLock or clear its data in Android settings. Deleting your account simply returns the app to its normal local-only mode.
- Purchases. LiftLock Pro is handled by Google Play; manage or request refunds through Google Play.
Data we may retain
We may retain a minimal record of a deletion request where we are required to for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. We do not retain your training data after deletion.
